Sufficient Grace

POOR is Rich
I open to Matthew Chapter 5 and I'm reading verse 3 over and over.

 Matthew 5

3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
To be blessed is to be empowered to prosper. Poor here refers to helpless and unable to help ones-self. As opposed to helpless but able to help ones self. This poor is totally un able to accomplish it's own ends.

To be poor in the spirit is to be totally unable to help ones-self spiritually. Everyone is in this state. There is no special class of poor here, this is all mankind. All people are helpless spiritually, caught up in a sin-cursed earth.

Kingdom of God/Kingdom of Heaven = God's ways of doing things, God's kingdom, His methods and His system of operation. VS the Worlds system of operation. God's Kingdom is not for some day in the future, it is here, it is now, and it is in you. It overrides all other systems and rules of operation.

"Empowered to Prosper are those who have come to realize, acknowledge, and embrace the fact that they, in and of them selves, are totally incapable to helping themselves in the spirit and before God. Only a person who has come to that point can then access God's system of operation and override their situation. The only way to get things done God's way is to realize you can't. "

GRACE is Sufficient
So then you realize that any promotion you attain without God doing it will not last or bring happiness. You realize that you are helpless to do anything without God. ALL that does not proceed from Faith is Sin. This then brings us to understanding His Grace.

II Corinthians 9

8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work

The Grace of God IS HIS ability on YOUR ability giving you the ability to do. His super on your natual making your supernatural. You have all, in all, abounding to all. Grace then is equal to abundance. Paul demonstrates this for us in Phillipians 4.

Phillipians 4
11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned , in whatsoever state I am , therewith to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased , and I know how to abound : every where *and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry , both to abound and to suffer need . 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Why is Paul content when he is hungry, cold, or naked? Because it brings Glory to God when you lack? NO... that's silly religious thinking. Is he being made like God when he lacks? Well, does God lack anything in heaven? No...

Content: Strongs #842 Autarkes
Definition: sufficient for one's self, strong enough or processing enough to need no aid or support independent of external circumstances contented with one's lot, with one's means, though the slenderest.

Paul is content because he is strong... he is content because he can do ALL THINGS through the Anointing (Christ = Anointing) of God which gives him the strength to do it. So then he is not saying that God gives him the strength to put up with cold, hunger, and naked. He is saying God gives him the strength to overcome it and not be that way for long. A person who understands his anointing could be stripped of all he has and be worth twice as much in a matter of months. That is the real story of Job. Despite what attacks your blessing, trust God and you will bounce back better than you were! If you need something just come to God's throne, BOLDY not with Worry or doubt! (Heb 4:16)

Paul also learned that it is God's tools we must fight with but that it is WE who must take that stand against the Devil's attacks!

WEAK is Strong

Ephesians 6
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Then you come to 2 Corinthians 12 and have a much better understanding of what is being said:

"When I am Weak, then I am strong."

2 Corinthians 12

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak , then am I strong.

I don't take pleasure in the fact that I have difficulties. That would be stupid. I take pleasure despite the difficulties and even when difficulties come I delight myself in the Lord anyway. Because I know that when I am weak, poor in spirit, that I have access to God, The Anointing of God, and ALL his tools and ways and operations. I have the Kingdom of Heaven system of operation at my disposal to overcome and conqour any situation.

John 16:33Romans 12:21

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

1 John 5:4

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

God says his Grace IS sufficient. Totally able to help you overcome. Glory in the fact you know you are weak, only then can you have access to God's kingdom tools and use them to overcome! Perfect in bible language means to be maturing, or brought to completion. a car isn't "Perfected" until it's on the road driving. A loan is perfected, legally, until the title has been transfered into the lienholders name.

My grace and power is more than enough for you. My ability to bring to completion the request you have is brought to completion in weakness. You CAN only overcome WITH GOD, when you realize that you can't without Him. You can't do it alone. HE won't do it for you. But you CAN do it with Him!

Doppelgänger _ Spritual not Physiological

They don't know it yet, but they are witnessing demonic oppression in this person. Very intrigueing. Science and God, clashing worldviews, trying to explain the same phenona different ways.
Mark 9:17-19 (New King James Version)

17 Then one of the crowd answered and said, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. 18 And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.”

19 He answered him and said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.”

Doppelgänger

Spelling
The word doppelgänger is a loanword from German: Doppel (double) and Gänger (walker).[1] It was first used by Jean Paul in the novel Siebenkäs (1796), and explained by a footnote.

As is true for all other common nouns in German, the word is written with an initial capital letter. In English, the word is conventionally uncapitalized (doppelgänger). It is also common to drop the diacritic umlaut, writing "doppelganger."

[edit] Scientific and philosophical investigations
[edit] Left temporoparietal junction
In September 2006, it was reported in Nature[2] that Shahar Arzy and colleagues of the University Hospital, Geneva, Switzerland, unexpectedly had reproduced an effect strongly reminiscent of the doppelgänger phenomenon via the electromagnetic stimulation of a patient's brain. They applied focal electrical stimulation to a patient's left temporoparietal junction while she lay flat on a bed. The patient immediately felt the presence of another person in her "extrapersonal space." Other than epilepsy, for which the patient was being treated, she was psychologically fit.

The other person was described as young, of indeterminate sex, silent, motionless, and with a body posture identical to her own. The other person was located exactly behind her, almost touching and therefore within the bed on which the patient was lying.

A second electrical stimulation was applied with slightly more intensity, while the patient was sitting up with her arms folded. This time the patient felt the presence of a "man" who had his arms wrapped around her. She described the sensation as highly unpleasant and electrical stimulation was stopped.

Finally, when the patient was seated, electrical stimulation was applied while the patient was asked to perform a language test with a set of flash cards. On this occasion the patient reported the presence of a sitting person, displaced behind her and to the right. She said the presence was attempting to interfere with the test: "He wants to take the card; he doesn’t want me to read." Again, the effect was disturbing and electrical stimulation was ceased.

Similar effects were found for different positions and postures when electrical stimulation exceeded 10 mA, at the left temporoparietal junction.

Arzy and his colleagues suggest that the left temporoparietal junction of the brain evokes the sensation of self image—body location, position, posture etc. When the left temporoparietal junction is disturbed, the sensation of self-attribution is broken and may be replaced by the sensation of a foreign presence or copy of oneself displaced nearby. This copy mirrors the real person's body posture, location and position. Arzy and his colleagues suggest that the phenomenon they created is seen in certain mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, particularly when accompanied by paranoia, delusions of persecution and of alien control. Nevertheless, the effects reported are highly reminiscent of the doppelgänger phenomenon.[3] Accordingly, some reports of doppelgängers may well be due to failure of the left temporoparietal junction.

See monothematic delusion for a detailed description of various psychological problems including the syndrome of subjective doubles, which may be related to the doppelgänger.[4] See also out-of-body experience and the Third Man phenomenon.

Power!

Power!

David had the people bring the Ark back to Israel on a cart. This was not the God prescribed plan of action. God had previously established that it must be carried by Levites and that they must carry it by the polls. In this case it was on a cart, which had previously carried who knows what unclean things. It was treated as a show piece and not as a holy sacred thing. The oxen stumbled and Uzza put his hand to stabilize it and died because of it.

The raw power of God was released into this man and it killed him instantly. It was this same raw power of God that hit Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5 and killed them. However it also the same power that was used in creation and the same power that raised Jesus from the Dead...

The Spirit of God hoovered over the waters in Genesis one... The Word (who is God, who is the Word)(John 1) said LIGHT BE! That single explosion is still expanding over 6000 years later violently. That same WORD said "MAN BE IN OUR IMAGE..." That same statement caused Jesus to come and rectify the mess of the first man to ensure that MAN BE IN OUR IMAGE would still come to pass.

That power now dwells in your mortal body, quickening it... making it alive. It is that same power that BURST onto the scene in Acts 2 empowering 120 people to turn the world upside down. Every time you come in contact with someone, if you are saved, you have the potential of releasing that power...

...the power that created the universe, the power that created man, the power the raised Jesus from the dead, the power that created miracles, signs and wonders in the ministry of Jesus and anyone ministering in Jesus Name from the beginning to now...

...THAT POWER could be released from you the same as it was the day a woman with an issue touched Jesus and it left Him!

THAT POWER was released... BUT it caused different reactions depending on how it was handled. That creative power killed three people on two occasions because it was mishandled. In 1 Chronicles David's mishandling of it caused another man to die. The POWER of God is serious, weighty, electric...

Take a moment to reflect on how you may have mishandled the power. How could I? The WORD IS the POWER OF GOD. The word is power. The power is the Word. The Spirit of God is God. God is the Word. The Word is God. The ARK contained the Word and Power and Presence of God. The three (Power, Word, Presence) are inseparable. To mishandle one is to mishandle the three.

To mishandle the Word of God is to mishandle the spirit and power of God. I find that sometimes I've mishandled it by ignoring it, treating it as a non important activity. Sometimes I've mishandled it by choosing something else. Sometimes by not believing it. If God says healing is His will in His Word, which he 100% unmistakeably and undeniably does... and I refuse to speak his word into my health especially when sickness is attacking me... I am treating his word as less important than my symptoms. If He tells me to go somewhere, do something, say something, work somewhere, take part in some activity, volunteer here, write this or that... and I do not, I either choose not to, or ignore it, or become distracted... I mishandle his Word which is His presence which is His Power...

To mishandle the Word of God when he gives it is to say that you don't want His help... which makes it MUCH harder to hear Him in trials, temptations or any other crisis and therefore MUCH harder to heed his Word. This is where people die and others say "God must have wanted an angel in heaven..." Or some other such non sense. They have been mishandling His Word and therefore don't know His Word. Yes... sometimes disobedience will cost a life, yours or someone else's.

If I am called to minister to people in location A, but I'm still working as a shoemaker in location B because I've grown so accustomed to ignoring the leading of God... how many people will miss out on the blessing God wanted to bring because of me?

Darrell... DO NOT MISHANDLE THE WORD OF GOD!

Exodus 25

13 And you shall make poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold. 14 You shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, that the ark may be carried by them. 15 The poles shall be in the rings of the ark; they shall not be taken from it.

1 Chronicles 15

11 And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites: for Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel, and Amminadab. 12 He said to them, “You arehouses of the Levites; sanctify yourselves, you and your brethren, that you may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel to the place I have prepared for it. 13 For because you did not do it the first time, the LORD our God broke out against us, because we did not consult Him about the proper order.” the heads of the fathers’

1 Chronicles 13:6-12 (New King James Version)

6 And David and all Israel went up to Baalah,[a] to Kirjath Jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God the LORD, who dwells between the cherubim, where His name is proclaimed. 7 So they carried the ark of God on a new cart from the house of Abinadab, and Uzza and Ahio drove the cart. 8 Then David and all Israel played music before God with all their might, with singing, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on cymbals, and with trumpets.
9
And when they came to Chidon’s[b] threshing floor, Uzza put out his hand to hold the ark, for the oxen stumbled. 10 Then the anger of the LORD was aroused against Uzza, and He struck him because he put his hand to the ark; and he died there before God. 11 And David became angry because of the LORD’s outbreak against Uzza; therefore that place is called Perez Uzza[c] to this day. 12 David was afraid of God that day, saying, “How can I bring the ark of God to me?”

Exodus 37

Making the Ark of the Testimony
1 Then Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood; two and a half cubits was its length, a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height. 2 He overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and made a molding of gold all around it. 3 And he cast for it four rings of gold to be set in its four corners: two rings on one side, and two rings on the other side of it. 4 He made poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold. 5 And he put the poles into the rings at the sides of the ark, to bear the ark. 6 He also made the mercy seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits was its length and a cubit and a half its width. 7 He made two cherubim of beaten gold; he made them of one piece at the two ends of the mercy seat: 8 one cherub at one end on this side, and the other cherub at the other end on that side. He made the cherubim at the two ends of one piece with the mercy seat. 9 The cherubim spread out their wings above, and covered the mercy seat with their wings. They faced one another; the faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy seat.

Exodus 37:5
And he put the poles into the rings at the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.

Deuteronomy 10:7-9 (New King James Version)

7 From there they journeyed to Gudgodah, and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of rivers of water. 8 At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister to Him and to bless in His name, to this day. 9 Therefore Levi has no portion nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, just as the LORD your God promised him.)

Genesis 1

The History of Creation
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was[a] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Acts 5

Lying to the Holy Spirit
1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. 2part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? 4 While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
5 Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. 6 And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.
7 Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8 And Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?”
She said, “Yes, for so much.”
9 Then Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” 10 Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband. 11 So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things.
And he kept back
 Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Matthew 9:21-23 (King James Version)

21For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
22But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Luke 4:32
And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

1 Thessalonians 1:5
For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

Hebrews 1:3
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

A Call to Fellowship

EMIC Sunday Morning 01/01/2011

Heaven has released a call to fellowship. A call to fellowship with HIM. A call to fellowship with one another. Set aside time with HIM, that is NOT optional!

God is saying let me show you how much he wants you to have fellowship with HIM. Feeling that God doesn't want you around is from a sense of unworthiness which is always of the devil. God has MADE US HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS! How then can we be unworthy? To call yourself an unworthy sinner is to call the blood of Jesus unworthy! It's blasphemy to see yourself as anything less than the very righteousness of God.

There is nothing you can do that could make God the Father love you more than he already does before you were even born! But there are things you can do to experience that love more and to increase your fellowship with him, as the prodigal son who came back so too you can return to that fellowship.

The more communion you have with HIM the sweeter your relationships are with others. If you have strife and bickering and complaining and sarcasm at work in your life, it is a sign that you have no communion with your Father in heaven.

Jeremiah 24:7
Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the LORD; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.

Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

God said to Adam and is saying to us: Where are you? I want to walk and talk with you!

Your Mission, should you choose to accept it:

So... The feed store is giving away free rabies now?

The Mission:

I really don't want to be out here in cyberspace by myself. That's boring. I would like to try out a new concept to make this site more interactive.

I would like for you to send me a picture of something, anything (CLEAN Rated G) and I'll try to make it into an object lesson of some kind. I think this could be a really fun and interactive way to build our community.

Promote Yourself Too:

I will post the photo, the lesson and YOUR contact information on the site, including any links you want to include to your website, blog, social media, or business.

Send Pictures:

  • Post the pictures on my facebook page: Facebook.Com/DarrellGWolfe

  • I cannot use every photo every person sends.
  • I will choose the ones that are appropriate, clean, proper, family friendly
  • I reserve the right to alter, blur, crop, or otherwise adapt the photo for this blogs purposes.
  • By Sending the picture, you agree that YOU actually took the picture with your camera and have full rights to the picture.
  • It can be something normal like a shot of downtown.
  • It can be something abstract like a close up of a flower or leaf.
  • It can be some event you captured.Use your imagination.
  • Try to make it difficult.
  • Have fun, use your imagination.

Full Disclosure:

I only agree to use pictures that follow these disclosures and I will use as many as I can keep up with. Obviously if I get a 1000 pictures I could not use them all. I'll pick the best ones.

*The picture must be in good taste and clean. It must be taken with your own camera and not taken from the internet somewhere, or be someone else's photo that you do not have permission to use. It must be clear and good quality, not a poor image. Fuzzy can be OK, if that was obviously done on purpose.

Have Fun Scouting: I look forward to this exercise!

The Simple Will of God...

Type in "The Will of God" into a google search... you come up with the most amazingly silly things spoken by pastors and theologians. One of the top searches has a man saying that God's sovereign will has him causing things that he forbids. The idea is that he forbids a thing and dislikes it but then wills it through his sovereign will.

What utter nonsense! God's will is his Word. God's Word is his will. This is not a complicated topic. It takes a good theologian to help you mis understand the bible.

Someone says the bible says to pray: "If it's thy will..." Yes... and No... In certain matters there is room for question. Should you go to Rome or Moscow for your next ministry trip? Should you take this job or that job? There could be room for error here on matters such as these that require a specific leading of God.

James here in the book of James Chapter 4 is addressing pride in an individual that is making plans on his own, outside the leading of the Holy Spirit. The subject is pride and boasting. The understood subject is a person doing their own thing. Of course in this instance he would have no way of knowing what may come tomorrow, and would be better off saying: "If God wills..." to learn to submit to God.

However Jesus tells us in John 7:17 that if anyone wills to do the will of God that he will know what is of God and what isn't. This means that anyone who is born again, and spirit filled, and praying for the will of God with the right heart (a heart of obedience) will know the will of God.

What does knowing the will of God look like? Philippians 4:7 and Colossians 3:15 say that the Peace of God will rule and guard your hearts and minds. That means with any decision you will follow the Peace of God. Look inside and pray until you find that peace. You could even try an experiment. When you are faced with options A or B... Say out loud just as a test: "I will do A." If you get a check inside say out loud "I will do B." If neither option comes with peace just be still for awhile, a day or three if need be until you find that peace settling inside.

Certain matters are not up for debate. God is sovereign. When a sovereign God makes a sovereign decision it is final! God's word, where ever he has declared his will, is final authority on the matter. His Word is of a higher authority than any fact.

God has set in his will that salvation belongs to anyone who will receive it! That is FINAL! No One that wants into heaven will be left out. It is not God's will that anyone go to hell, but he will respect your decision to go there.

God has set in his will that healing, prosperity, and abundance belongs to everyone who will believe. God has set in his word that his benefits are for all who believe. You recieve salvation, healing, prosperity, and the rest of his benefits the same way. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, with no doubting.

So the next time you need something, don't pray "IF it be thy will..." Go to His word, find out what His will is and declare it so!
