What a year!
God said that in 2009 things that you thought were absolutely never going to come to pass are going to happen so smoothly and so easily, you're going to say, "My, my, my I don't see why I ever was disturbed about that. Why Glory to God!"

That is exactly what happened. We felt like I would never get out of working two jobs, or be able to move to Texas. I felt like my desire to be a banker coach or team lead were never going to happen either. I gave up trying to be a Personal Banker at the branch years ago.

In June of 2009 God gave us a plan and instructions which we had to walk out one step at a time, never knowing what the next step would lead to. We did move to Texas and got to EMIC after three years of hoping to come "Some Day"! I was a Banker Coach by November 1st! Between December and May I had three opportunities to become a lead/supervisor one dissolved quite by surprise. The other two I had to prayerfully turn down.

By May of 2010 I was hired as a Personal Banker at the Branch, which was a long term goal of mine.

They set forth three stretch goals in training to obtain a raise. By the might of God I hit two of them and got a $1,500 annual raise. I went from making $31,000 in 2009 to $35,500 in 2010. That is not taking into account bonuses I received.

 

By September of 2010 we closed on our first house. A Four bedroom 1,300 sq ft house with a large yard against a greenbelt for $119,000!

I started out the year claiming Psalms 65:11

What an abundant year it has been too. It's only too bad that I wasn't consistent in my claiming that abundance and believing for it's fullness. I wavered often and became discouraged more than once. But not as often as previous years.

What is the Lesson? In 2011... BELIEVE GOD MORE! The Word translated Abundance is also the word for Fat or Anointing. Your Paths DRIP with The Anointing... As I walk in your paths more of your anointing gets on me and saturates my life, therefore the more goodness or bounty in my life.

This word translated Goodness or Bounty is interesting. It's a complex word. Broken down it means:

Shall it be a time of darkness?
Or, shall this be a place where the Glory shines?
Yes, the Glory is here.
The glory has come and things in 2009 that you thought were absolutely never ever going to come to pass are going to happen so smoothly and so easily, you’re going to say, “My, my, my. I don’t see why I ever was disturbed about that. Why, Glory to God!”
And it’s going to increase and increase and increase. And before the end of 2009 you won’t be able to recognize yourself or your nation, because the Spirit of the Living God will be moving in ways that you’ve only dreamed about up till now and you’ll be on your way to more wonderful and greater things.

Declaration of Faith
The Perfect Will of God for 2010

I will not make a move unless I know that it is Your will. I won’t settle for anything less than Your

Everything Is Going to Be ALL-RIGHT in the Household of Faith
The world is in serious trouble. But for the household of faith and those that
will cling to My Word and listen very carefully, and do this thing that I have
demonstrated before you tonight, and night after night after night. You can do
that. You can do it yourself. You can stand in your place and you can worship, and
you can praise in the face of hell itself. And you can praise yourself into that place
where you say, “Ha, ha, ha. Everything is going to be all right.”
The world, I’ll tell you again, is in serious trouble. Some very hard things are
coming, in different places around the world. Very difficult times in a lot of
places. They’re that way now, but they’ll not get better. They will continue to get
worse and worse and worse. It is on a downhill run that the world cannot stop.
But, for the household of faith, everything’s going to be all right. Everything is
going to be all right.
Oh, yeah—you’ll have to make a stand. You’ll have to fight the good fight of
faith. But, when did you not have to do that? These are dangerous times. They’re
dangerous times financially. They’re dangerous times in the earth because the
earth is weighted under a gross weight of sin. There are things and places and
situations underneath the earth, in the oceans, in the heavens. Things are being
rattled and shaken. The earth is trying to break in different places.
Stand on My Word and it’ll not come nigh you. Praise and worship My Name.
Don’t feed and feed fear and feed trouble into your life and into your mouth. No,
no, no, no. Quit living in that house. Get on back over here in the household of
faith. Feed on My Word, not on the bread of sorrow. Feed on My Word. Look
in My face. Praise and worship. And praise and worship. In church, praise and
worship and preach the Word. Praise and worship and preach the Word. Praise and
worship and preach the Word. Everything’s going to be all right.
For as I have said, and will continue to say until it becomes solid and strong in
your spirit—your time has come. It is your time to excel. It is your time to do
exceeding, extraordinary things in the financial world, in the medical world, in all
of the areas where the world is in such dire trouble and so confused that they’re
confused beyond their ability to understand how confused they really are. And
they’re hurting because of it. They are crying out because of it. People are trying to take advantage of people because they’re so confused and because they’re so
troubled.
And I’ll tell you right now there are politicians and there are so-called business
people and there are thieves and there are all kinds of demonic folks who are
trying to take advantage of My people during a confusing time, and I will tell you
right now, saith the Lord, you can write it down and you can know it for sure, I
won’t put up with it and I’ll stop them from doing such a thing. And you are going
to see some things happen.
Fear not. I have My eye on them. They will go so far and no further. Their end is
already determined. I’ll not put up with it, saith the Lord of grace. I will not put
up with it. They have pushed me and pushed me and invited me out of their lives
and their thinking and in many cases and many personalities and many people
that are at the forefront of the news in this hour, I have already turned over to a
disobedient, reprobate mind.
I am the Lord and I will not have My people run roughshod, My people that are
crying out to Me. I utter My word through my servant tonight and you make mark
of it. But, everything is going to be all right in your house. Hallelujah. Amen.
I never have, until I heard that coming up in my spirit and then I saw it in the spirit, I saw
the word all right, everything is going to be (spelled) “all-right.” All-right.
Glory to God. Anything else, Lord, that You want to deliver? Praise God, Yes, Sir.
Now before you are seated, I want you to say to someone, “I believe that. Everything is
going to be all-right.” Take hold of it. Take hold of it. Everything is going to be ALL- RIGHT.

Prosper in ALL things...

We must learn to be dependent on God. As men we are often speaking about our Independence, but Godly men are DEPENDENT. We are not alone and do not do things in our own strength. We are NOT Self-Made-Men.

Mark 4:13-20 points out the key areas that keep us from being productive for God.

1. Cares
1. The things that weigh on our mental energy, bills, clothes, food, housing, gas for the car, etc.
2. Deceit
1. The lie that MONEY will solve the problem.
1. If only I got that raise, promotion, new job... that would fix everything...
3. Lusts
1. Lust is pressure. 
1. Pressure of wanting something
2. Pressure to get it at any cost
3. Pressure to abandon God's ways in order to get it. 

1st instance of the word "Thorns" in the bible is in Genesis 3:17-18.




¹⁷ Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’:
      “ Cursed is the ground for your sake;

Work became hard and irritating because of the curse. However we are not bound to the curse any longer. Jesus redeemed us from the curse.

 Things come according to the level of and direction of our expectation.

 Expect = Come

LOVE God loves us.... God loves us.... GOD LOVES US!!!! In Genesis 1

In Ancient Hebrew Language there were NO CAPITOLS, Punctuations (!@#$%^&*), BOLD, ITALIC, yellow or pink highlighters...

The Ancient Hebrews used a language technique to point out something within a text. This was their version of highlighting something they wanted you to see. They started with reapeating lines followed by a break from the repeat. This break from the pattern is the JUMP OFF THE PAGE LOOK AT THIS!!!

You can see this through 1 Chronicles 4. So and so begat so and so begat so and so... JABEZ was more honorable...

Hear the Passion of God in this set up... God said let THE.... over and over... but not Man... No with man... LET US!!!!! It's as if God is saying WAIT.... LOOOK.... CHECK THIS OUT.... I'm going to jump in and get PERSONAL with this one.

We see in Genesis 2 that God personally got involved in forming man.
⁷ And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
⁸ The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.

Can you see Jesus on his hands and knees in the dust of His new earth creation and forming man as a sculptor forms a fine crafted statue? He takes his creation so personal that he breathes his OWN breath and spirit into him.

Clothing
He takes it so personal... that after the fall when Man had tried to clothe himself in inadequate leaves God killed the first animal to clothe Man and provide for him better than He chose for himself.

To this day Fallen Man's mind tries to provide for himself less and God is endeavoring to raise man's eyes to HIM as provider. God always wants better for us than we want for ourselves.

Galatians 3:13
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us...

We do not work FOR a living. We work to be fruitful and multiply! Gen 1:28

Ephesians 4:28
Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.

God Peels us as onions, just let the old dried crust fall off. Don't get into condemnation over it. Just let it go. Paul called this old stuff DUNG... Animal poo... Just let it go and move on. No need to feel bad when He points out something that needs to change. Just change... and move on freer and happier.


God made an animal to carry burdens. It's called a Jack-Ass. When we try to carry our own burdens by saying "I'll take care of this"... we make ourselves a Jack-Ass.

Enter into the rest.

DO NOT WORRY... that's not a suggestion that's a command!

We must NOT strive to live through the day... the ONLY striving we are allowed by the Word is the STRIVING to enter the REST!

Seeking things will never add things to you. What you compromise to get you will eventually loose.

Seeking GOD however adds all things to you for you to richly enjoy!


Your SPIRIT was re created when you received Jesus.

Your MIND still needs to be RE NEWED by the Word Constantly

Your BODY still needs a constant RE VIVING by the Spirit.

Considering the idea of striving to enter the rest I picture a lazy river at the water park. It goes around and around. Relax and it takes you where it is going. However if you are in the FLOW of the world you are flowing toward and relaxing in an atmosphere of SIN and DEATH. The Curse will happen easily around you.

You are thinking that in order to rest you must do nothing, but that's causing the curse to explode around you. You are confused, because your not striving but you are not feeling the rest. Rest doesn't equal inactivity. That just causes the flow of sin and death to take you in it's current.

Instead you work to fight the current, swimming upstream to nearest exit! Then get OUT of the current and work you way through the crowds to the other pool This current is flowing into the BLESSING and Peace and REST of God. Enter there and STAY in.

Each pool is entered through the mind, thoughts and images and imaginations which works their way into being released in faith through your mouth into your life.

Any bush will burn. Moses saw a burning bush, but the bush had no special character. ANY old bush will burn. It was the power of God that caused it to burn without burning up. If you are working and going along in stress on your own power, even if you are working FOR God... you WILL burn up! Only a bush filled with GOD's power can burn without burning up!

Plug into God's REST to receive His POWER!

The people grumbled again Moses and Aaron and Joshua... they were not united to their leaders.

BE United in Faith with your leadership (Church, Work, Home, anyplace...) in order for YOUR faith to move you into God's plan. Find out what your Pastors and Bosses goals are. Plug in and put your faith to see those goals come to pass.

Hebrews 4

The Promise of Rest

 1 Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. 2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them,[a] not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. 3 For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:

      “ So I swore in My wrath,

      ‘ They shall not enter My rest,’”[b]

   although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”;[c] 5 and again in this place: “They shall not enter My rest.”[d]

6 Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, 7 again He designates a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” after such a long time, as it has been said:

      “ Today, if you will hear His voice,

      Do not harden your hearts.”[e]

8 For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. 9 There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

The Word Discovers Our Condition

11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Our Compassionate High Priest

Productive or Not? It's up to you!

This Story was so important to God that he recorded three seperate perspectives of it to shed different lights on it!!!

Luke 8 (King James Version)

11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God

Matthew 13 (King James Version)

19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart.

Mark 4 (King James Version)

20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit , some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

     There were four ground types. ONE seed. That seed was the same on all four ground types. There was power in the seed to grow and produce in ALL FOUR ground types. If there is no growth is has NOTHING to do with the seed. 

 14 The sower soweth the word.

     If I have the Word of God THE incorruptible seed and I am not producing... there is only one conclusion to make. It is MY soil/heart that is at fault! It is time to examine the soil for problems. 

1.      Wayside heart:

a.       Satan comes to steal the Word from the HEART of the one who doesn't understand it.

b.      This person doesn’t understand because they don’t want to. They don’t Value God or His Word. They don’t take the time to try to understand it.

2.      Stony Heart:

a.      This is the heart with no root…Receives with Joy but doesn’t take the time to dig deep and grow roots into the word.

b.      This is a matter of being superficial but not taking it seriously. You are glad to hear it, but you don’t turn off the TV and get into the Word to find out more and make sure it’s in deep.

3.      Thorny Heart: Choke and Unfruitful

a.      This person has

                                                                i.      Endeavored to understand it.

                                                              ii.      Taken time to dig roots

                                                            iii.      BUT

b.      Cares of this world have choked it out…making it unproductive.

                                                                i.      What will we wear, eat, drink, house… gentiles seek after these things…

c.       Deceitfulness of riches… have choked it out making it unproductive.

                                                                i.      Deceived into believing more money will solve the problem. Only God is provider. He WILL provide ALL you need, want, desire on HIS terms!

                                                              ii.      “I just need to make a little more, get another raise, get that next Tax Return… that’ll put me over…” but it doesn’t.

d.      Lusts of other things… have choked it out making it unproductive.

                                                                i.      The Pressures of other things taking the place of you time and attention in the Word.

4.      Good Ground Heart:

a.      Hears

b.      Understands

c.       Bears Fruit

                                                                i.      Some 100, 60, 30, etc…

d.      This person has:

                                                                i.      Endeavored to understand through time away from TV and distractions. Spent time studying it out.

                                                              ii.      Taken it further and Dug deep to grow roots against trends and the opinions of others. He CANNOT be told it isn’t true or doesn’t work.

                                                            iii.      Casted down ALL distractions and unproductive thoughts and activities.

                                                            iv.      Fought past every opportunity to fail and through FAITH and PATIENCE inherited the promises.

                                                              v.      Received to the degree he was able to rid himself of the thorns and weeds in all their variety!

What have you done in the last week that prevented you from doing something more productive?

            This includes not only bible time, but working on God assigned projects instead of watching TV.

            What Thorns are attempting to take your attention and trust off of the Word of God… His word NEVER fails. If you aren’t receiving it’s YOU! Fix IT!

Running From or To?

     I've heard Kenneth Copeland say several times over the last few years: "When you sin run TO God not FROM him! Your sin is none of the Devils' Business!" I've been thinking about this idea of "From" and "To".

     Don't plan to retire FROM your job... retire TO a new and higher level of living and purpose and drive! Otherwise you rot away from boredom.

     Don't try to get a promotion FROM the position you don't like right now... you'll just end up with another position you want to get FROM again. I spent years running FROM one job to another "Greener" job that wasn't so Greener.

     When looking for your next place, house, job, task, goal... etc... look to ensure that your motive is seeking God to move in TO his next plan for you and not just FROM where you are. There is a profound difference! Even the right move with the wrong foundation will cause serious delays and detours.
